Our Mission
STAGED MASTERCLASS is a Performing Arts program created by Black Theatre Professionals to
foster and uplift young talent. In each of our classes we combine practical performance technique with Theatre History through the lens of Black/ African Diaspora achievement. Our mission is to instill a sense of pride and import that is rarely represented in the dialogue of theatre, while teaching students real-world skills to help start a career in this field.
